LUIS FONSI & DADDY YANKEE’S “DESPACITO” FT. JUSTIN BIEBER, # 1 ON BILLBOARD’S HOT 100 FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN A ROW

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee kicked off Day 2 of “The Voice” Season Finale with an explosive performance of their record-shattering global hit DESPACITO along with former contestant, Mark Isaiah, which was followed by a standing ovation from the audience and the show’s coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys. Other performers included artists Miley Cyrus,  CeeLo Green, Little Big Town, Gladys Knight, Rascal Flatts, Chris Stapleton, Zedd and Alessia Cara.

 Sharing their Latin flavor with world, Fonsi and Daddy Yankee celebrated not only their first appearance on American television, but also the fact that theDESPACITO remix ft. Justin Bieber, continues at # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the second week in a row, on Spotify’s Global List, Shazam’s Global list and sales charts in over 61 countries.

In addition, the original video for DESPACITO hit 1.5 billion views on YouTube. DESPACITO has been the # 1 video the platform for the last 12 weeks and is the most viewed music video on YouTube released in 2017.

Fonsi will continue his extensive promotional tour around the world this May and June, traveling to countries including Argentina, Italy (where he will perform at the Wind Music Awards, the country most important award), Germany and France. 

In July, Fonsi will kick off his highly anticipated “Love and Dance World Tour,” performing in major cities including Spain, Argentina and Chile. New dates will be announced soon through www.luisfonsi.com.
